EUGENE, OR -- A late second half push from the Titans fell short against the Lower Columbia Red Devils on Sunday, Dec. 7. The Titans were down by as much as 16 points, but managed to get within four points with 23 seconds remaining when freshman Tru Young hit a 3-pointer - his one and only of the day.

The Titans grabbed a recounnd on the ensuing possession but sophomore guard Joey Banry missed his 3-point attempt, which forced Lane to foul and give Lower Columbia two free throws.

The Red Devils escaped with a 79-74 win and improved their record to 5-1 on the season. The Titans lost their third straight and fell to 3-5. Their next chance will come next weekend when the Titans host an NWAC Crossover event on Friday through Sunday.
