EUGENE, OR – On May 6, the Northwest Athletic Conference announnced their Athletes of the Week and inlcuded Lane Titans track stars, sophomore Lucas Hoff and freshman Amanda Bennett. Both athletes attended W. F. West High School in Chehalis, WA.

Hoff was recognized in the men's track category for his performance(s) at the 2026 NWAC Multis Championships last week. He defended his decathlon championship fromm a year ago by pllacing first in 8 of the 10 events.

Bennett earned her first heptathlon championship and was recognized as the best among the women's track. An excerpt from the NWAC website reads, "Bennett's final score of 3,960 is the top total in the NWAC this season. To go along with her first place finish in the javelin, Bennett also took second place in the 100-meter hurdles, shot put and long jump."
