Lindsay McShane is an OSU alumnus who threw both the hammer and the discus while in college. Her 211’ 6” (64.48m) mark in the hammer still holds the school’s record. 164’ 6” (50.15m) was her best discus mark ranking her top five in OSU history. She also threw shot put and javelin in High school, with 44’ (13.41m) and 141’ (42.98m) being her best marks respectively. She is now a registered nurse at Salem Hospital and throws coach for Lane Community College.
