Lane Women's Soccer kicks off their 2024 conference season on Friday, August 30th on the road against the Portland Panthers.

The preseason 9th ranked Titans, coming off an 8-3-2 season in 2023, looked to make noise early at the NWAC Soccer Friendlies last week. In their first match they defeated the 6th ranked Bellevue Bulldogs 1-0. They followed it up with a match against 1st ranked Penisula, falling 3-0. Despite the loss, the Titans proved they will once again be tough test for any team.

The Titans, in addition to signing a large and talented freshman class, brought back their leading goal scorer from a season ago, Jillian Goggins, and many other key pieces to complete their squad. 

Head Coach Joshwa Martin, entering his 3rd season, feels his incoming class has changed the dynamic of this season.

"The additions to our roster this year have brought a fierce tenacity and have raised the bar considerably," he remarked, "while our sophomores have returned with a renewed sense of purpose."

Coach Martin's team is poised to again to compete for a Southern Region Championship while also staying true to Martin's mission to push his players to the next level.
