Under the lights on Saturday night, the Lane Titans Women's Soccer team picked up a much needed win over the Clackamas Cougars.

The Clackamas Cougars were coming off of an upset victory over the 7th ranked Chemeketa Storm on Wednesday night and were looking to carry that momentum into Saturday night's match.

The Titans, coming off a tough win of their own at Southwestern Oregon, had other plans.

An early goal by Jillian Goggins in the 5th minute proved to be enough for the Titans, as they were able to hold off Clackamas the rest of the match to take it 1-0.

This is the Titans second victory in a row and it puts them in a tie for 2nd place in the NWAC Southern Region with 9 points.

Their next match is on Wednesday, September 18th, against the Southern Region 1st place Chemeketa Storm.
