The Lane Titans Volleyball team split their two home matches against Clark and Mt. Hood over the weekend.

The Titans, coming off of a win over Umpqua the previous Saturday, had a matchup against Clark Friday evening.

Despite losing the first set 25-12, the visiting Penguins rallied and took the next three sets from the Titans to win the match 3-1.

Despite the loss, freshman Lada Smetanina was brilliant for the Titans, recording 16 kills in the match.

Looking to bounce back the next day, the Titans returned to form with a dominant 3-0 win over Mt. Hood.

Yazmeen Brown led the charge for Lane on their second day, recording 12 kills.

The Titans now sit at 8-8 on the season with a 2-2 record in Southern Region play.

They will travel south next weekend to take on Rogue and SWOCC.
