EUGENE, OR -- The Lane Titans volleyball program would like ot welcome two new assistant coaches, Braiden Bowen and Sarah Lanz, for the 2026-27 season. Read more about Bowen and Lanz below!
Braiden Bowen is originally from Prineville, Oregon, and played volleyball at Crook County High School, helping lead the program to three state championships and earning Libero of the Year honors at the state championships twice.
She continued her playing career at the College of Southern Idaho, where she was a member of the 2012 NJCAA National Championship team and earned Honorable Mention as a libero during her second season.
Since finishing her playing career, Bowen has remained active in the sport through coaching at both the club and high school levels. She spent two years with Rimrock Volleyball Club before relocating to Connecticut, where she coached with Husky Volleyball Club and Hall High School for three seasons. In addition to team coaching, she has offered private libero training and positional development for defensive specialists.
Passionate about developing the whole athlete, Bowen places a strong emphasis on building mental resilience, confidence, and growth both on and off the court. Outside of coaching, she enjoys continuing to play adult volleyball and spending time outdoors, especially anywhere she can find sunshine and a cold river.
After her collegiate career, Sarah transitioned into coaching, completing three club seasons with Rainier Volleyball Club in Washington and two high school seasons at Creswell High School. She is passionate about developing athletes' skills, confidence, and love for the game while fostering a strong team environment.
Sarah enjoys spending time with her two dogs, Bentley and Zoe. She's an avid runner and has recently completed the Eugene half marathon!
