EUGENE, OR -- Three teams from Oregon and Washington will be traveling to Eugene over the weekend to play three games in three days. The Lane Titans men's basketball team will play host and welcome the Peninsula Pirates, South Puget Sound Clippers and Blue Mountain Timberwolves for a pre-holiday tournament that starts Friday night and will culminate Sunday afternoon.
Each region of the Northwest Athletic Conference (NWAC) will be represented at the Crossover (Peninsula-Northern Region, Blue Mountain-East, South Puget Sound-West, Lane-South).
Lane's overall record sits at 3-5, and the 8-2 Clippers will have the best record entering the tournament, followed by Blue Mountain with three wins and six losses and Peninsula are looking for just their second win of the season (1-8 overall).
On Friday, the Pirates and Clippers will open the festivities with a 5 p.m. tipoff, followed by your Lane Titans taking on the Blue Mountain Timberwolves at 7 p.m.
Saturday's schedule will start with South Puget Sound vs. Blue Mountain at 3 p.m. and Lane vs. Peninsula at 5 p.m.
Make sure you have your coffee ready on Sunday as the Timberwolves and Pirates tip off at 11 a.m. Sunday morning. The Titans and Clippers matchup will commence at the conclusion of the Wolves-Pirates matchup.
