EUGENE, OR -- The Lane Titans (3-6 overall) lost their fourth straight game on Friday in their 81-74 loss to the Blue Mountain Timberwolves (4-6) on Friday night.
The Timberwolves shooting proved to be the difference maker scoring seven 3-pointers and sinking 73% of their 30 free throw attempts (22-for-30).
The Titans, despite winning the rebounding battle, turned the ball over 17 times that led to 21 Blue Mountain points.
Sophomore guard Joey Banry paced the Titan offense with 20 points on 6-for-11 shooting and three assists. Sophomore Justin Davis was the spark off the bench with three 3-pointers and total 15 points.
The Titans shift focus to Saturday's 5 p.m. matchup against the Peninsula Pirates (1-9) on the campus of Lane Community College.
