The Lane Titans Women's Soccer team cruised to a 7-0 victory over the Rogue Ospreys Saturday afternoon.
The Titans, coming off a pair of 3-0 victories to start Southern Region play, held their opponent scoreless for the third straight match.
In addition to another solid defensive effort, the Titans scored their highest goal total of the season.
Freshman Giselle Fallon started the scoring off in the 11th minute with a perfectly placed ball in the corner of the net for the Titans first goal of the match.
Reigning NWAC Player of the Week Alexa Kovatch also continued her excellent play, scoring 2 goals once more, one in the 18th minute and the other in the 65th minute.
Alexandria Delpino gave the Titans her lone goal in the 37th minute, putting the Titans up 3-0 heading into the half.
The scoring continued late, with the Titans notching 3 goals in 6 minutes to close out the Ospreys.
Brooklyn Bybee scored her first goal of the young season in the 78th minute.
Sophomore Noely Luna Ramirez joined in on the scoring in the 81st minute.
Finally, Claire Holcomb capped the match off with a goal in the 84th minute to secure a 7-0 win for the Titans.
The Titans currently sit at 2nd place in the Southern Region with 9 points, trailing only Portland, who has 10.
Lane will travel to the Capital this Friday to take on the Chemeketa Storm.
